The Clinical Support for Assured Minds

Assured Minds has been developed with a proven concept behind us. In 2011, Stuart Arnott created Mindings, a way for friends and family members to stay in contact with their loved ones suffering with dementia through a simple picture frame.

Two, independent clinical trials were conducted into the efficacy of this method of communication and interaction, with extremely encouraging results. By the end of the second trial, just under half of the users were measurably happier. Friends and family members self-reported that they felt more satisfied too, in being able to feel as though they were directly participating in the care of their loved ones.

We have seen from hundreds of health studies that improvements in mental and emotional wellbeing can directly lead to improvements in physical wellbeing, and the power of the method used by Mindings to create these improvements was adopted and trialled by local authorities and healthcare providers as a result.

Assured Minds builds on the original, proven concept, introducing a significantly wider range of apps, devices, and opportunities to generate further health, wellbeing, and emotional support to people living with dementia, and those who care for them.
